Rmi 1000 Fan %

I have a Corsair Rmi 1000. And the default is not to spin until a certain temp. Inside link you can set the fan to run at a set %. My question is since the fan not spinning bugs me what would be a good % to run the fan at as to not hurt the power supply? Or is this a bad idea to limit the fan speed not allowing it to go full speed when it needs to? might of answered my own question there. But I will let it stand.

Why would you want to run the fan? The PSU is designed with excellent thermal control.

My Ocd likes seeing temps down low! I still have it off atm was just curious.

What sort of temps are you getting? I will check what my RM850i is sitting at.

30c. lol. I know its not hot but as soon as I turn the fan on it drops to like 25c.

Its under the Psu shroud in a Enthoo pro m. So I cant see it. But I know. That's the issue. haha

I know haha. I will say this thing is quiet. Really glad I talked to Tom before I ordered. I almost got a Evga. Nothing wrong with those either but starting to like Corsair link!
