As I said, DX12 runs only on one GPU.
I tested this a bit further and disabled SLI alltogether. Funny thing is now both DX versions run exactly the same with ~72fps. So enabling SLI might get +2fps here for DX12, but this could also be in the margin of error for the measurements.
Another funny thing is, that the highest performing mode is DX11 with exclusive fullscreen @ ~102fps. In this mode DX12 won't run at all. Just hitting the Play button exits the application and puts you to the desktop again. ^_^
Maybe this is the reason why MrKambo couldn't get this DX12 to work alltogether. Switch to windowed mode and see if that helps.
So the conclusion as of now is, that DX12 will only run in windowed mode and only on one GPU. It does next to nothing to improve the performance (at least on my system) and it prohibits the use of the newly added VXAO feature, which is only available in DX11 mode.
