57C is fine! What volts is that with?

You could get one of these coolers if you really wanted. They do a brilliant job at cooling Q6600s at 3.6GHz, although don't quote me for it as I haven't had the chance to check it out for myself yet.

I have found that the real test for any cooler is whether it can handle the heat of a quad overclocked, duals are fine and many cooler will cope with the heat produced by a dual, but put it on a quad and they just cant cope with the higher output, indeed test on both platforms but like i said the real test is on the quad and if it can handle that then it will cope with the duals no problem.

Yeah I see your point there. I need to get around £60 from somewhere, my friend has a Q6700 for sale! He wants £80 for it, I'm really in need of some cash now LOL dad can't assist me though, he's buggered up the banking this month, maybe I'll have to miss it

I will do the tests on my dual core for now, when I get my Quad I will do the tests on there again and I will update it with the two.

And thanks buddy thought i'd come to see where you and tekno are hanging out these days.
