This website/shop is in my opinion the best modding/PC component website in the UK.
Here's my review...remember its my opinions!
Kustom PC's was a site I got highly reccomended by several friends from work....I was a bit suss when the chap said "e-mail them and ask them what they think about what you need"....yeah right!
I duly did it, expecting to get a reply sometime never. 10minutes later i got a great e-mail back recomending stuff to buy/do....not necessarily from them (well they had all of it in stock)...but free advice!
I was amazed to say the least...so that's where I found out about Kustom!
Price
Well price I think is one of Kustoms only downfalls....so I'm starting here...balanced review!
Kustom PC's do have bad prices. Not at all. Their prices are fairly reasonable and competitive.
An example was my processor. It was £133. Just a bit less than Aria and Novatech. A few pounds here and there...not much more.

Site Navigation
Heres a couple of screenies from Kustom PC's:
As you can see, the site is divided very easily into menu's that come down when you clisk on them. And then there are pictures in sections that are easily interpreted and understood. Browsing this site is so easy. I've never failed to find what I want...if its to do with modding/PC parts etc!
So all in all....a nice simple site to use and navigate around. Looks nice too. Good colour scheme and easy on the eyes.
Kustoms Servers seem to be quite fast and so the site is pretty quick...even though it get incredibly busy at peak times!!
I must add that the service that Kustom use for you to pay online is excellent.....very fast and secure (WorldPay) and you get reciept straight away!

Product Selection & Availability of Parts
Just like any store...Kustom PC's occasionally have stuff out of stock. They are a smallish physical store in Scotland....so not as much on the shelf as; say, Aria. But they do seem to have quality performance and modding parts in stock. I would think that most of the parts that Kustom carryu are of great quality. As one of their staff once saif to me...."we will only stock items that we trust to use ourselves from manufactorers that have given us a good experience". Quality.
Ok, so some parts aren't in that you want but I've ot seen a site yet that has everything I want. Add to this the fact that they can get stuff in on special order (as long as they deal with the manufactorer)...and you've got a great store!

Pre-sales Service
Well this is one of the reasons that I use Kustom PC's. Pre-sales service is excellent. If you e-mail them, they WILL reply to your mail. If they are very very busy the it will take 1/2 a day. If they are just busy I have been known to be able to get a reploy in around 15mins!
They will reccomend that you buy something of theirs...but then who doesn't. I have had some solid excellent advice.....that has been repeated on this site as well as elsewhere!

Returns (Refunds & Exchanges)
I have RMA'd several parts from Kustom PC's...each and every time I have done this it has been a very good experience. I sent back a CPU cooler that didn't quite fit on the board (even though the compatibility list said it did) and I got an RMA number via e-mail after 5mins. Sent it back and they refunded me the next day...as soon as they recieved it. Basically as long as they have all the original parts then they will RMA the item. I have also sent my RAM back (to eliminate it from the equation - turned out to be a DOA MSI board). Kustom PC tested it in several RAM tests (I had but they failed) and also downloaded Farcry to test the RAM too!! If the RAM had been dead then they would have swapped it out for some other RAM I wanted! I got e-mail updates every couple of hours on it and they paid the P&P both ways (they sent it back as it was ok). All in all.....I've never had a better experience!

Shipping and Transit times
Kustom PC's basic Service is Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. As we in the UK know....it is a very fast service and if you order before midday (someimes after) the item will be on your doorstep the next day. Then it's Royal Mail Special Delivery: guarenteed next day. I've ordered parts like this @ 4pm and got them at 8.15am!!
The interlink courrier service that Kustom offer for bulkier items is also very fast...next day. Also offered is a "collect-point service" which is good cause your item is put near you and available till 8pm!!
Kustom PC's also seem to charge a hell of a lot less for P&P than every e-tailer I have come accross. I think they may actually charge you very near to what it would actually cost for each item...which is nice!

Overall:
I trust Kustom PC's. To me that syas it all. I don't trust many retailers...but Kustom PC's I do.
I have mentioned it, but I will say it again. Kustom will order stuff in for you that they don't stock....not many places will do that for you!
They deliver an excellence of customer service that is second to none, with good products, a nice website and excellent speed of service. If they have the part that you want...pay a pound or two extra and get it from Kustom PC's for your peace of mind, you won't go wrong....I promise you.
Overall: 9.6/10 Not really lacking much really!
