I just had this idea.

Out of all of the retailers I have used this year one has stood out for me. I won't go to great lengths to explain but please feel free to cast your vote !

This isn't a mega serious thread and please, don't use it as a basis of where to buy from but I am just interested in seeing who you have been the happiest with this year

Thanks ! and if I have missed any please feel free to add them and your vote

i gotta go with scan as ive got mostly all my rig from there, ebuyer is no 2 choice got a few things from there 2

Was a tough choice, but chose Scan only because they handled my RMA very quicky

I've bought from Scan, Aria and ST and they all do top notch jobs.

I chose Specialtech. I have used them less than any one else however they have always been the place to go to get me out of a jam.

It's easy ordering big items from Amazon (mention does go out to them though !) because they're easy to get big items.

But Specialtech always have the really obscure things I desperately need and I am always very happy with the prices

For example today I found out that my case I'm getting has a 200mm intake space and a 200mm outlet at the top which is the only one occupied. I could have put dual Noctua 120mm but hey, wanted a 200mm. £8.

not gonna vote for obvious reasons but from our perspective, when a customer calls us and buys a few bits and then ask where they should get their components from we always recommend Scan.

Cracking people and we chat daily to them, mostly about rubbish (picked them up on a spelling mistake yesterday) but they certainly are dedicated to what they're doing.

P.S. - cheers AlienALX

scan just as hey hev never let me down.all my packages at uni in brum and home in manchester all arrived at decent times (am) and they all cam perfect.

they are usaly always the cheapest and they usally always have the most stock

they guys at the shop are great and freindly.

TBH even if I was still using Scan (and I'm not, that's £1000 worth of business that I would have spent with them now that I deliberately haven't, over £25) then I still would have rated Specialtech the highest. Obviously they're not a very big powerful outlet but they are cheap, quick, and have what I need. I suppose the best way to explain it is it's like one of those 'Mum and Dad' hardware stores down the road that don't exist any more.

Specialtech.

I bought all my hardware at scan, but all my watercooling kit I got from specialtech.

Ain't done much shopping this year tho.

Reason?

Graeme and the team always get stuff sent out quick and I mean QUICK.

I once ordered some LAN Party Drinks/Sweets. He put one less in the order, by accident. E-Mailed and had a reply in about 10 minutes. Another one was sent in post and receieved following day. Amazing service.

Gotta say ebuyer.

They don't get enough good press as much as scan even though there RMA system is 100 times better as its all automated and you know where you item is from the minute it turns up unlike scan where Ive had to call up numerous times on there PREMIUM rate number

Yeh sure scan are ok but I'd still prefer to do my shopping at ebuyer even if there GUI could do with a revamp as scan's is top notch tbh.

Agreed Graeme is a legend and another great source for hard to find bits and specialist stuff, good call Bloomerz

Big thanks to Aria.

I actually forgot I had used them before and had an account with them

Today they sorted me some mega cheap shipping on my PSU. It's a heavy bugger but they were really cool

Every single time they've been brilliant. I know their hardware prices are a bit more expensive, but you're paying for excellent service and wellbeing.

I've visted the shop, and it was awesome..

Another gold star for Specialtech.

So I order a load of misc bits. They all start arriving. Unrecorded, unregged.

Even my memory that was £48 carried a £3 shipping charge and came second class unrecorded

Good thing I'm not dishonest as I could have pocketted that !

I order a large £8 fan from ST. Comes the very next day, first class recorded for my £2.50 or whatever it was.

Well it seems to that only me voted for Overclockers, but...no issues at all, great RMA service, free delivery and good prices - what more you can wish

CCL got my vote even though their website is a tad hmmm.. dated

Would have voted for scan but I had a diabolical RMA experience with them a year or so ago (heard literally nothing from them after i sent back a faulty Accelero S2)..Did buy my F3's from them though because I didn't know CCL had free shipping over £50 *facepalm*
