Hi Guys,

Not sure if anyone can help. My daughter has managed to break the monitor on her Dell D630 laptop. I have managed to acquire an old non working Dell D630 laptop with a working monitor and want to replace the working screen onto the other laptop.

I have tried google to find a guide to doing this but have come up with nada :(

Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated :)

it might be to much hastle dude, altho unscrew the back and i guess it connects via them thin brown cables unplug it also becarfull were you touch screenwise and it may come in 2-3parts panel wise.

vague i no ime sorry but ide have a go or take it to a shop

replacing a monitor on any laptop is rather simple :)

usually you just take all the rubber gromets out around the screen and unscrew the screws, after the the screen face plate has been removed you should be able to unscrew the monitor and take the ribbon out of the back of the monitor
