Hi Guy's
I need to replace my battery on a ROG Maximus VII Formula motherboard. To do this it appears i have to take off plastic shielding covering the front of the board. Question :Do i have to remove the board from the case to allow me to do this?

Appreciate any advise Gramps

Look at the manual dude.

if its anything like the sabertooth boards its not in the manual since you arent meant to remove the shield/shroud

But.. yes, you may have to remove the board depend on on where the screws are. Likely chance the screws are in the back.

Thanks, i thought that may be the case but hoped there was an easy answer.
At my not looking foreward to having to rebuilding the computer.:(
