removing emachine recovery disk!!!!!!

i am doing a crappy upgrade for my brother

changed everything it boots and everything

am changin motherboard to a gigabyte duo not high spec from an emachines board

how would i permanently delete the emachines recovery partition off the hdd!!!

surely all you have to do is merge the partion back together and then reinstall windows?

Under control panel, adminstrative tools, go into computer management and there should be a hard drive management tool. Otherwise you can download a free partition manager which you create a bootable cd. Or when you install the OS, you'll get the option to use the installer's own partition tool.
