Hi all,
For my rig I'd like to use Corsair 1200i PSU.
However I'd like to have some form of failover as I may end up running the rig 24/7 in some cases for various reasons.
So it got me thinking I need to have my own redundant PSU system.
Basically I want to know how maybe I can do that and also if my idea may work.
My idea is to create a number of my own 'Y' cables that take say two PCI power and make it into one PCI and have that connect to say a GPU. So if one fails it pulls the power from the other. Is there anything wrong with this logic? And if so how else can I do it?
Cheers in advance and hopefully we can come up with something.
