Tempted to get back into Folding. Thought it was causing an issue with my PC but turns out it was something different so may start again.

You'll get it soon enough as I have no plans on upgrading any time soon.
Although, I may feel differently once I've been bumped down to 4th. I hear it's dusty and moldy down there.

How has the 260 super been working for you PPD wise?
270 super of mine has seen 2.25 mil PPD on one of the core 22 projects. Normally runs 1.3 to 1.9+ mil on other projects. Might get one more good card before retiring from this nonsense. But before that happens i'll need to get a good wireless router that will work reliably downstairs.
Anybody have any recommendations that will work well on a quite large two story home??

Lowest i've seen is just over 1mill and highs of just over 1.9mil.
I'd like to try a EVGA 2060 KO just to see if using the TU-104 (2080 & 2070S) makes much of a difference whilst folding. From the reviews i've seen the gaming performance is stock 2060 BUT the workstation performance is upto 47% faster.
I've seen the odd 2060 KO numbers floating around and they were like 1.3mill but what one person gets it doesnt always follow suit that someone else will get the same results using the same equipment + the massive variations between current core 21 & 22 wu's ppd makes my head spin.
Price wise the KO is around £50-75 cheaper than the cheapest 2060 Super so might be worth the gamble?
P.S Not all 2060 KO's use the TU-104?

Right, so I'm back at it, but... Two questions.
1) I have a global frame cap in NC enabled, am I right in thinking this won't affect Folding?
2) My GPU Memory is OC'd to 8024, however, with some work units Afterburner reports Memory speed to be 7824. Is that normal?

1. It shouldn't have any affect on folding.
2. It's normal for the memory speed to drop whilst folding, only thing that can hinder or help folding is the Core speed.

Thanks for that.
I'm sure the memory downclock is due to a state setting but can't remember where to change it.

I was planning on another 2060s to replace my 1070 but the Corona virus has near enough killed off the aviation industry atm so I’d better watch my spending as reduced hrs, unpaid leave or redundancy are looming

Out of curiosity, what kind of hardware do you have folding ATM?
Looking at the stats, it seems like the team will be moving up a rank in a few days. Though a few teams will be on our heels within a few months.
When I finish my work on DOOM Eternal, I'll need to get another GPU folding for a while.
Have a GTX 1080 and a RTX 2700S for primary folders, with an amd 290 downstairs. Was clipping along at about 3 M PPD before all this beervirus (a lot of people call coronavirus beervirus, because of Corona beer from Mexico) started and WUs became rare.
The pre coronavirus core 22 WUs generally earned more PPD than the current crop of WUs, the 11738 WU was averaging 2.25 M PPD on the 2700S and the 11739 was generally around 1 M PPD on the 1080.

That's a lot of GPU horsepower.
Just checked the team stats and it looks like we are no 43rd place in the project. It was 44th not too long ago.
We do have a few teams hot on our heels though. We may not stay at 43rd for long.
