Only folding on my i7 2600k and my laptop i5 2410m is really hurting my PPD. In the next 48 hours I should be back at my parents and have both E5450s folding on a clean boot of Windows 7.
Edit: It also looks like this is going to be the first month since May that I have produced than a million points in the month, ever other month since being in the 900k mark. Which is actually pretty awful considering the hardware I have to actually fold on. But as some of you may know, things havn't been kind enough for me to go full throttle for a while.
Also, on the up side, my Dad now has my old XW6400 motherboard with dual 2.33ghz quads and a 8800GT, plus my (even older) Q6600 @ 3.2ghz and a 8800GT. So should need be, I have some extra hardware to call upon when the time comes.
Ook its time to make a third rig to unload some of my other rigs,
so i can get fully PPD
I am first going to use the P4 HT rig something (see pic),
when i (finally) move homes i will add the Acer mobo to thye game so i can add a extra GPU ..
The rig with the skelet hands on it , is the rig i will use today,
as i only need to swap GPU's and install a OS...
So i can finally go over 100K
EDIT just waiting for the WU to finish on one of my GTX460's..
You guys may or may not have noticed a slight bump in my PPD's. I managed to convince my better half that I should build an HTPC instead of buying a blue-ray player for the bedroom. So, into a tiny little Lian Li, I managed to squeeze a new 35W i3. Ergo, we get to watch blue-rays (and some "personal entertainment" websites) together, while it folds away at 5.5K-6K PPD. On top of that, this little Intel is pulling only 22W from the wall while folding!!
It was only after she loved the final product (the little case is unreal - PCQ07) did I tell her that I spent "a little more" for the Intel chip and low-pro cooler over the AMD APU's so we could have another "folder"
