Could be wu`s better suited,just noticed that 9xx pointers my 560ti is closing in on 19k ppd.But wu 6800+6801 which is the most common,its only barely 14k ppd.

And the gtx470 soc is 15.8k ppd whatever wu its folding.The higher clock-speed on the 560ti makes the differense i think.

And i may have been a little short-headed about my comment about the 2600k.37k ppd on wu 2684 is outstanding and 43k ppd on the other big wu`s on 7 cores is also too be a reasonable result.I was hoping for far to much,like i7-970 @ 4.2ghz .

How many of those 970's you running?

Thanks Steve,running two 970,only one on ubuntu linux 64bit,but that wu6903 is some 100k+ ppd and 342k points in 3,14 days

But maybe i would run Fedora linux on the 2nd 970,have found a gpu client code-writing that works for fermi-cards
