Reccomend me a good motherboard please

evening all,

I need help choosing a good motherboard. My budget is £200MAX

I will be using a i7 920 do stepping CPU, Will be overclocked at a later date.

Water cooled setup

I shall be using it for extreme gaming and a lot of internet browsing as well as photoshop and video editing.

Can anyone help me as I quite like the blood range but not sure which is best bang for buck.

I have heard a lot about SLI but dont fully understand it.

Asus p6t V2 all the way my friend

easily one of the best i7 boards there is, saying that you cant really go wrong with any x58 chip based motherboard these days.

but if you want too save a little cash there is always the GA-EX58-UD5

What advantages does the gigabyte have over the XFX X58i?

Ive not used either tbh, but Giga are a good solid mobo brand, and from that list they would be my choice tbh.

the advantage is.................xfx suck soo hard lmao, basically any board i ever bought from them decided to not post after around 2 weeks of use, also there RMA service is terrible so just go with the GA in my eyes defo a top contender or the P6TD ofc
