Alright Guys

Thought id share this with you. Its kinda post build log, the machine is 95% finished.

Well its been a good year since id done anything to my machine, and i was offered the opportunity to get my case repainted. So i jumped on it and stripped my rig back down. Being a uni student and having my 600T for near enough 2 years it had got a lot of abuse big scratches and scuffs all over it and the white had started to yellow.

My 600t already had a few modifications, which included trimming the bottom of the drive cage to allow pipes through, removing all the HDD cages, Modifying the front to fit the 200mm fitting flush against the front, various extra holes added to screw the pump and SSD(Till the rebuild the SSD was screwed to the back of the motherboard tray).

In tendered modifications were to add support for a 360mm radiator at the top, along with trim down the optical cages further to improve how the insides looked. The paint I always had a thing for blue so the outside would be a BMW Custom electric blue which is found on the a 1992 BMW E30 Convertible Neon Design Special Edition. And the accents would be done in Satin and soft touch black.

All the paint work was done by friends companies, All the blue was done by a company called Rays Motors, and all the black was done by my mate Dan (which works for a development company) Big thanks to everyone over there.

Nothing flashy here i just wanted my rig to look clean.

Thanks for looking

Feedback is welcome.

holy moly that looks gorgeous, are you gonna change the coolant?

Note there are a few broken links or whatever you call them :)

Looks good! :)

I like it when people do things to their case that makes them stand out against all the other builds done in the same case so it's not 'just another one'.

Manica: Fixed them links, i just ordered some blue mayhem X1 for it, ive got some Mayhem Auroa blue sat next to me but I dont think it will look right so decided not to use it.

Very nice mate. That acrylic side panel looks gorgeous. I watched a Youtube vid earlier of one being made, I was shocked with how much work goes into making one. He polished the edges that much you could see right through from edge to edge, just as clear as the actual panel.

Only thing I don't like is the EK bay res, but holy damn that paintjob is gorgeous!
Looks like it's done by a professional mate! :)

http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/ Pretty good do a little research and you can get a almost full keyset, i have some blank control and alt's but there a little short so i left the standard ones. To be honest im thinking about swapping my black widow out for a k70 with brown switches. The sidepanel i just randomly found on ebay, some guy was selling about 5 of them, £70... i know expensive but it really makes the rig, it doesn't quite fit correctly so is great security non of my flatmates could ever open the side of my case due to it

Well this is bloody gorgeous (at least imho). I do agree that the coolant needs to be
swapped out, blue should look quite nice I'd say, so I'm eagerly awaiting that part. :)

I tried to pull out the bezel on the front plastic and all i got for my trouble was a couple broken clips how did you manage?

The paint I always had a thing for blue so the outside would be a BMW Custom electric blue which is found on the a 1992 BMW E30 Convertible Neon Design Special Edition. And the accents would be done in Satin and soft touch black.

Man am i glade you found that paint:). it would have been a shame if this beauty of a build
would be mest up by some crappy sky blue paint :). But man have you nailed it with that colour :notworthy:.
i really love that nice metalic finish with just the right amount of gloss.
I just absolutly love the look of this build:drool: and man is "she" a beauty
