read-only hot swappable

just wondering if anyone knew of any sources for hot swappable read only hard drive caddies. its really important that they are read only. any ideas?

how does the caddy control whetehr it is read only or not? im interested

i might point out that they are used mainly for hard drive recovery/Forensics which is what im building a new machine for.

Write function probably disabled in software level , as the box acts as a controller i believe and its probably disabled in the controllers bios.
