TTL towers must be full of things and Tom just wants to clear some space it seems

Corsair made this easy, I'v done no physical mods to the case the panels just slide in place, and the motherboard panel is screwed to the extra stand offsNot a fan of all the carbon wrap, but the PSU cover is really nice! At least you did something creative with it
Ooooh Tom getting everyone curious again.
Unfortunately this particular board is limited to 1333Mhz Max, I can't alter the memory timings.Nice, i like the carbon vinyl. If the motherboard restricts your 2133mhaz ram to 1333mhz, then you should make the timings tighter instead
Cables are the devils work and must be tidied or hidden.Lovely build so far! Not a fan of the carbon wrap too, but the PSU cover is indeed very nice! I like how to managed the cables too.
And indeed very generous of Tom! He does really care about the community, faith in humanity = restored![]()
Lacing is the way to go, it really keeps those cables in check.Good guy guv is at it again it would seem haha, loving what you have done so far wraith think I may do some cable lacing myself soon, it tidy it right up
looking good mate. can not beat a simple but clean build imo
but where did you get the oc3d sticker from?
I have to have a clean well maintained system ^_^, I had a couple of stickers left over from my last build, I make them myself.
Means I'm going to have to go bigger with the video, or go really indepth with the build log? Suggestions?Very nice Wraith, looks like Tom is sending out another parcel!![]()
Thanks dude, I do like tidy cables, although I hadn't noticed the PCI power socket until after I'd fitted it, then remembered it from TTLs review back in March.. It had me scratching my head for a few minutes, but all sorted now.Very clean Wraith, Love how you've routed the cables for the 750 up the side of the case, very clean and look awesome imo.
Yes Wraith, the new board and plats are looking good in there. I do for some reason always think that Plats and H100i's belong together and Vengeance Pros belong with H105's. If your cutting down on the carbon then it sounds like your going the right way in that respect, I always think that leaving everything exposed and making it all beautiful is the way to go. I don't like builds that hide radiators and PSU's, covering something up and being a clean freak are never the same.
Anyway for improvements most importantly I would cable tie those SATA's down the edge of the motherboard tray. I know it's tight don't rip the plugs off but just give them a kink and they will go, also the couple at the top hanging down need strapping tight to the optical cages. There's nothing worse than seeing cables where there should be a big open space. I also noticed your running the fan splitter into the H100i which is fair if your out of fan headers on the motherboard or the controller isn't as good, I can see why you may have to run them off their but I would avoid if possible and then never install Corsair Link lol.
