"Re-born"

Not a fan of all the carbon wrap, but the PSU cover is really nice! At least you did something creative with it :D

Ooooh Tom getting everyone curious again.
Corsair made this easy, I'v done no physical mods to the case the panels just slide in place, and the motherboard panel is screwed to the extra stand offs :)

Nice, i like the carbon vinyl. If the motherboard restricts your 2133mhaz ram to 1333mhz, then you should make the timings tighter instead
Unfortunately this particular board is limited to 1333Mhz Max, I can't alter the memory timings. :(

Lovely build so far! Not a fan of the carbon wrap too, but the PSU cover is indeed very nice! I like how to managed the cables too.

And indeed very generous of Tom! He does really care about the community, faith in humanity = restored ;)
Cables are the devils work and must be tidied or hidden.

Good guy guv is at it again it would seem haha, loving what you have done so far wraith think I may do some cable lacing myself soon, it tidy it right up
Lacing is the way to go, it really keeps those cables in check. :)

It's Alive! It's Alive! Nice one Wraith looking good man.......So what's the Guv got in store for you then boyo ;)

Love the way everything is turning out! You defiantly deserve it! can't wait to see what the guv has in store for you next. Something tells me it's going to be good ;)

Thanks guys.

She's been on solid now for the last 48hrs, I've had some serious photoshopping to get done for our upcoming dog show, and while the missus's laptop was capable, it's nothing on this. There is a lot to be said for SSDs, I've missed my rig like crazy.

looking good mate. can not beat a simple but clean build imo

but where did you get the oc3d sticker from?

I have to have a clean well maintained system ^_^, I had a couple of stickers left over from my last build, I make them myself.

Love that Ya getting some sweet Guv-Love cause I see you all over OC3D helping Out. well-earned m8, well-earned )=D.

Hope the Guv. finds the piece he is looking for hehe...

And the Carbone looking awsome.

Very clean Wraith, Love how you've routed the cables for the 750 up the side of the case, very clean and look awesome imo :).

Very nice Wraith, looks like Tom is sending out another parcel! :)
Means I'm going to have to go bigger with the video, or go really indepth with the build log? Suggestions?

Thanks dude, I do like tidy cables, although I hadn't noticed the PCI power socket until after I'd fitted it, then remembered it from TTLs review back in March.. It had me scratching my head for a few minutes, but all sorted now.

OP All updated Boys and Girls, enjoy and do give your open honest opinions :)

Current OC is 4.0Ghz @ 1.08v, Just working on the RAM at the moment.

Looks great so far mate, i bet you can get more out of that chip yet though :-). Looking forward to more updates fella

Wraith give yourself a smack like I had to recently you have double posted, BTW the rig is looking sswweeettt!!

Yes Wraith, the new board and plats are looking good in there. I do for some reason always think that Plats and H100i's belong together and Vengeance Pros belong with H105's. If your cutting down on the carbon then it sounds like your going the right way in that respect, I always think that leaving everything exposed and making it all beautiful is the way to go. I don't like builds that hide radiators and PSU's, covering something up and being a clean freak are never the same.

Anyway for improvements most importantly I would cable tie those SATA's down the edge of the motherboard tray. I know it's tight don't rip the plugs off but just give them a kink and they will go, also the couple at the top hanging down need strapping tight to the optical cages. There's nothing worse than seeing cables where there should be a big open space. I also noticed your running the fan splitter into the H100i which is fair if your out of fan headers on the motherboard or the controller isn't as good, I can see why you may have to run them off their but I would avoid if possible and then never install Corsair Link lol.

RE: SMTCC I would try 9-11-10-30 1600 1.5V with no CPU overclock, if that doesn't work something is a miss and the BIOS has gone squirly

Yeah Carbon fibre is going :D There are far too many rigs sporting it now, I've found a nice matt black vinyl to wrap the acrylic with (keep it simple). There are 2 panels going in though, 1 will sit between the drive cage and PSU (Not covering the PSU) just covering cables in the base, and the other panel is going to sit between the drive bays and optical bay (more of a motherboard tray extension) so the loose cables in the back have more hiding space. ;)

As for the H100i I will be running the fans via separate headers with a nice fan curve as the Bios is a dream to work with (confusing at first).. on that note anyone else who may be considering using this board for a build DO IT! Although do not try installing windows seven from a external ODD, it will not work (USB3 and all that funk)
