So who is currently on the X79 platform and going to make the jump to this brilliant board? Or is jumping on board with the IVB-E line?

I personally am strongly considering the upgrade to this monster, i currently have the X79 Sabertooth and yes its an awesome board in it own right it just doesn't have the WC support that I'd at least like to be available i may not use it but id at least like the option i could only find one block made by heat killer for the Sabertooth. And yea this new ROG will have heaps of options :-) so I'm strongly considering it.

Are any of you guys considering it? if so why? or on the flip side why not?

From what I've been able to find it's release date is end of the month. I'm sure TTL would know more about this then I. Maybe even a Video?

Well I dont think there would be any point in anyone changing from an x79 to another x79. The sabertooth is that way for a reason was the 'armour' not meant to healp channel air directly over all the components.

I have a rampage 4 extreme already. The black is cool looking but I wouldnt swap my current board for it

If you go take a peek over at the Rog forums you'll see alot of people wanting to swap from a RIVE to the Black actually surprised me how many. "The Armor" on the X79 is pitiful compared to the newer boards. And tbh i've always regretted not getting the RIVE and now this has come along I WANT IT!!!!! haha. Buying that will also allow me to slap together a cheap 2nd computer for media/downloading what ever! And I'm really liking the idea of-

12 SATA [8 SATA 6Gbps]
8 USB 3.0

As an owner of a Rampage IV Extreme I think this new board is a great addition to the line. Looks to improve on the old board in a number of ways such as the new Audio.

I also really like the new design aesthetic. The old board looked fine but this takes a few notches above that. Personally I won't be upgrading as just seems silly to do so but I do like the new board.
