Raid or not to raid

hey guys, i'm still waiting on my case and am just about to order 2 gtx 460s but are also looking to buy my first ssd, now what i was wondering was whether to raid them or not, as i know if i raid them it will make them perform better but i lose the support of trim, and trim seems a major factor in keeping performance up ?

i am currently looking at either 2 60gb OCZ vertex 2E 60gb for raiding or just 1 OCZ vertex 2E 120gb found these perform quite well from reviews I have read but if anyone can suggest any better willing to have a look

If you raid SSD's trim doesnt work. So the drives will bog them selves down with crap and get real slow.

So the short answer is a definate NO

yeah thats what i thought, just was unsure, thanks. Do you reckon the ocz vertex 2 is a good option to go for? have also been tempted by the intel 80gb x25m and the ocz vertex limited edition 100gb just because it has the sandforce SF-1500 controller

Naaa Im really not a fan of OCZ now tbh dude. Id buy Corsair, Kingston or Gskill if I was you.

found the corsair f120 which the specs look good so probs go for that then
