r9 295x2 glitch

Randomly an image appears at the top of my screen from something I previously viewed in time. It's a still image and can be both in and out of games or browsing a webpage. It only takes up about 5 - 6 inches of my screen at the top of the screen and it usually ends up being something I was looking at very recently. I tend to notice it happens in games more than anything.

Anyone had this problem before? I tried:
driversweeping my old drivers
reinstalling new drivers
New hdmi cable.

It isn't the display because this is a television i've used before on previous cards. I'm able to watch tv without it happening. It only started happening a couple months ago. Corsair link shows the temps are fine and imt running at factory clocks

It happens too randomly or I'd try to take a picture of it.

That sounds like a VRAM glitch. Is the card overclocked at all, and does it do it with the second BIOS active?

I'm not even sure how to switch to the second bios. I read about the switch when I first purchased it but was never able to locate it. And no it isn't overclocked at all.

The bios switch i located about an inch to the right of the PCI bracket, the switch its self is a tiny slide switch, make sure the rig is off when you switch the bios.

Are you familiar with overclocking and using software such as MSI Afterburner or something similar, if so i'd suggest just underclocking memory by 100mhz, just to see if the problem disappears.

Im assuming your stock clocks are 1018 on the core and 1200mhz on the memory?

Can't believe I've been missing that switch. I'll try it now on the second setting for awhile. My clock/memory is showing 1018mhz/1250mhz via gpuz.

Will get back to you in the coming days.
