Quietest fans with good CFM for H100

Hey all,

i have a H100 installed in my 600T SE, cooling a 3930K, just wondering what would be the best but still quiet 120mm fan for it?

If i put the fan speeds on high, it sounds like my PC is about to launch to the moon.

hmmm - not a very good balance, you cannot have your cake and eat it... but you can come very close

here are a few that i rate very highly:

CM SickleFlow 120 R4

Noctua NF-P12 Vortex-Control

Akasa Apache SuperSilent (AK-FN057)

Sharkoon Silent Eagle SE

Be-quiet! Silent Wings

I havent yet heard the new noctuas with direct flow but if they follow the trend of past fans they will be very good

Cougar Vortex PWM fans are supposed to be good as well 70.5 CFM @ 17.9 DB and 2.2 mm h20 static pressure.

Try noctua fans if you dont mind the colour,also Scythe Gentle Typhoon are pretty quiet and the are really good for radiators.

Sorry i forgot to mention, i had BeQuiet! Dark Wings on the H100, and yes they're very silent, but dont push alot of air imho, im getting alot better temps with the stock Corsair fans, thanks for the list guys, ill go do my research and see which ones i can pick up in melbourne, cause we dont really have a good variety here!

I am yet to discover a quiet CM fan too.

As long as they are worth their price, i'll be happy!, but as i said before, i purchased the Dark Wings, and they were a big disappointment imo,

and pricey!

Another vote for gentle typhoons, the 1450 rpm ones are pretty quiet and can be controlled on a fan controller. They also have a decent static pressure so can push through a radiator.

Has anybody tested the Silent Wings? They push a lot more air than th DW but the static pressure is a bit lower, any input?
