Hi guys, just a quick question for those who play Europa Universalis 4, Crusader Kings 2 or Victoria 2.

How well would this computer run those games that I just mentioned:

CPU Type - AMD FM2 Dual Core
CPU Model - AMD FM2 A6 6400K 3.9ghz Dual Core
CPU Socket - AMD FM2
CPU Speed - 3.9 Ghz
CPU Max Turbo Clock Speed - 4.1 Ghz
CPU Cooler - Standard AMD Cooler

Memory - 8GB DDR3 Performance Ram
Hard Drive Size - 1tb Seagate Barracuda Sata 6Gb/s 64mb Cache 7200rpm
Optical Drive -Samsung 24x Sata DVD Writer
Graphics Card - Onboard AMD Radeon HD 8470D
PSU Size - 500 Watt Power Supply With 12cm Fan

If you can get something better then you should. Otherwise it should perform fine :)

Is that quite a good rig for gaming? What would you rate it out of 10? £250 is my budget and that's a pre-built rig that I found on Amazon. Would it play most games (new as well) on medium quality?

You'd need more then that in order to play most games on medium quality. You'd do better to build it yourself :)

I know I'd do better to build it myself but I just don't have the budget to do so unfortunately. Any suggestions?

If you can stretch to £300 your options will be much, much better. Otherwise I'd look at second hand parts on ebay.

I could stretch to £300. Do you have a build in mind that costs £300?
