Quick News

If that was the Thargoids they must have got nice over the year, his ship was still intact

The old BBC Micro version Thargoids were fun. The double hyperspace jump as they pull you down always got the heart rate going.

Might have to head out and have a look!

Aliens have finally been seen in Elite Dangerous.

Not yet confirmed to be Thargoids but based of the experience of people who played the original game, it would appear that these aliens are Thargoids.

Videos etc can be seen on in the thread on the Elite Forums.

TBH I haven't played Elite for a while, I keep thinking about it maybe starting again just to see what it's like after all the changes.

Watching subs video, had a funny thought if you were low on fuel and they pull you to the middle of nowhere, well it would be funny if it's someone else it happened to :D

Fuel rats to the rescue. Yeah I imagine you'd be somewhere between your starting location and your targeted destination but then I guess how would the rats find you if you're 3ly between systems?

Self destruct and pray to the Escape pod gods...

EVGA are now into watercooling with AIO's and KOS is going to go apoplexy cause his god company are using asetek

I already knew about before you posted it. As Jayz soons as uploads a video i try and watch straight away.

No cause if you look at their Hydro AIO coolers they already use Asetek stuff, I would have like to seem EVGA joined up with EK and came out with an AIO, I'm not mad at them just disappointed is all. one thing i will say i do like the EVGA fans.

I don't know some people seem to think i'm going to be mad cause EVGA has done this lol

I love their new case.

I'm still keen on their DG87. It's just I can't justify the price. It's not bad but since I need to pay shipping on that to Norway, and then the 36% tax (also including shipping) to get it in here. I might as well just go and get an LDV8.

Well if you can't justify the price of the EVGA case then you can't justify the price on that new Phanteks case then.

I didn't think the DG-87 wasn't overpriced here, If you want to talked about an way over priced case now is the Corsair 900D over 3 year old case at it's still $470.00 here.

Currently on mobile, so this'll be a quick one...

Both explain how HyperTransport is evolving from basically a previous FSB, to a new SoC within the SoC design of Ryzen and Vega. This is part of the scalability and flexibility goals AMD have been aiming for.
Much much more interesting and very important things in the articles.

Maybe this has something to do with Navi's "scaleable" tagline we saw in the GPU timeline slide.
