Samsung’s pre-installed version of SwiftKey for the Galaxy S6 has a security flaw

It turns out that Samsung’s pre-installed version of SwiftKey for the Galaxy S6 has a security flaw, which is putting user data at risk of being snatched up. According to a US security firm, the issue also affects Samsung’s last two flagship smartphones as well, meaning Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 users could be affected.
security firm, NowSecure, discovered the issue and has flagged it up with Samsung for patching. The vulnerability comes down to the keyboard’s unencrypted connections when downloading different languages. The flaw could potentially allow an attacker to “remotely execute code as a privileged system user”.

KitGuru are not being given a sample of the AMD R9 FuryX due to "KitGurus Negative Stance Towards AMD"

Christine Browne informed me directly on the phone that the reason for withdrawing the sample was based on ‘KitGuru’s negative stance towards AMD’.

If we become unable to share our genuine views and opinions out of fear of a company withdrawing product samples then I see no point in being here at all.
To me it is pretty poor of AMD to be restricting reviews due to reviewers actually showing real world performance of a companies products and giving there honest opinion about it, and not just fluffing the reviews to make it look better than it actually is.

I have to ask myself how many reviewers out there now are going to give the AMD products more favourable reviews for fear of not being allowed to review future products, using samples sent to them by AMD and instead either having to purchase the product or wait for other manufacturers such as, ASUS, Gigabyte or MSI to send them a sample.

Didn't TTL also experience this with EVGA based on the review of their SR-x? It is sad that companies will resort to these tactics because they cannot accept an honest review of their products. How else can you improve your line of items if you cannot take criticism regardless how fierce it may be. It's not like the negative reviews are hurling insults.

IIRC he did but also NZXT I think as well or it was another case manufacturer.

AMD cannot really afford to have bad press around them at the moment, when they have a card that potentially could give nVidia a kick up the rear end to get them to release, some decent performance improvements with each release of cards, instead of a couple of percent each time.

Same with Intel with the CPU's because of AMD's lack of high end CPU's to compete with the current Intel I7 lineup.

Just industry politics, sadly that is the way things are. If people don't do your product justice why send them more?

Though this is a bit harsh from AMD, I would not say that they are biased in any way shape or form.

There does seem to be a short supply of review samples for the AMD Fury X GPU, though retroactively taking away their sample is a terrible PR move. I could see a single brand doing that but AMD should know better than to take away their sample and give that as a reason.
