Intel Custom Foundry Demonstrates Industry-Leading 32 Gbps SerDes on 14nm Process
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 18, 2014 – Intel Corporation today unveiled silicon characterization results for its 1 to 32 Gbps high-speed SerDes on the 14nm process. This 32 Gbps SerDes is the second SerDes offering and adds to the previously announced 1 to 16 Gbps GP 14nm SerDes. It will be available by end of this year.
"We evaluated many SerDes suppliers for our high-performance Achronix FPGAs," said Robert Blake, CEO of Achronix. "Both the 12.75G SerDes using Intel's 22nm technology and the 32G SerDes using Intel's 14nm technology met our stringent power/performance requirements and the broad range of features that we needed. The SerDes from Intel Custom Foundry is a key differentiating technology for the growing range of high-speed interfaces that our FPGAs require."

Forbes reports: Refund anyone who bought AC: Unity

I was a little shocked to see the well established media company commenting on Ubisofts behavior of late but I couldn't agree more with Forbes, Heres a snippet and I'll link the article below -

It’s time to make that right. Refund anyone who has purchased the game. Recall the copies still on shelves. Fix the game before releasing it to the public. Half-finished, buggy releases like this have no place in today’s industry.

Good. If the more well reknowned media companies start bashing game devs for the shit releases maybe that'll teach them a lesson.. then they start giving them bad reviews and scores and praise the companies that are doing it right.

Ubisoft just released a patch for unity that has a massive 300 fixes for the game..

Surely this proves that the game was still in alpha/beta state when it was released further concreting what Forbes quoted!

Ubisoft devs should be ashamed of themselves for releasing sub par products.

Possible AMD 390x performance leak

There is some light at the end of the tunnel for AMD, though, and it seems to have cracked the high power consumption of its previous generation graphics cards too. Leaked benchmarks that appeared recently on the Chip Hell forum*here, claim to show that a yet unknown graphics card is over 15% faster than Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 980, yet consumes only 12W more power on average.

Nvidia will bring something out to counter it, They always do.

It'll just cost £800 and not be that much faster.

I'm quite interested in this as, unlike Nvidia, AMD tend to screw up in some dumbass aspect (e.g. reference coolers only at launch etc) so it'll be interesting to see how the card partners counter it and it'd be cool to have a proper card battle, like the 680 vs 7970 days again.

Aye I know, but 15% performance is pretty good going, and that's without optimised drivers to i would expect.

True but I doubt Maxwell has optimised drivers yet, I have a feeling we'll see "Miracle" drivers released around the time of AMD's new cards just like Nvidia's "Wonder Drivers".

Will still be faster :p

True we need proper GPU wars were the vendors are at eachothers throats, Makes pricing better for us :)

Exactly, and with Nvidia not dicking around with price for once, things could only get better :D. I honestly think that this coming generation of cards will be a cracker! Both sides will have their strengths and weaknesses obviously but I don't think I'd say Nvidia have won just yet.

The upgrade rash will start to itch if it is too good though . I'm already not happy with my 780Ti and if prices go down and if a right beaut is released...
gnaaaaaaah
