Quick News

Total War Pharaoh announced. Sparse details and they uploaded a YT video. Strange reveal to be honest. Expect more Thursday (they have a Tuesday news day and a Thursday is usually the follow up).

I've seen a compilation list of details on total war reddit gathered by users. On mobile hard to link everything .

My opinion. What a waste of resources. Even if this is a solely historical title with no fantasy involved they really couldn't have picked a more unwanted period of time. Hell I would have taken a Rome 2 remastered over this as far as I can tell. Most wanted an Empire 2/Medieval 3.
Overall reaction since the leak and today's reveal has been subpar. I'll remain optimistic though. Here's to hoping it blows everyone away.

TBH, initially I thought that this was one of their smaller scale Total War Saga games. Like Thrones of Britannia, Troy, or Fall of the Samurai. But given its pricing and lack of the "SAGA" title, it clearly isn't.

I am interested to see more. The game seems to have the Pharoh Merneptah, which places the game at 1203ish BC. So before Rome, so the world would look very different to what we have seen in any other Total War game.

As much as I would like to see a new Empire Total War or a new Medieval Total War, this should be an interesting game to play. Not sure if it will interest me enough to have multiple campaigns though.

Corsair are releasing a system that finally fixes their awful cable management, Looks quite snazzy, Guessing it will be £40 per fan, £250 for the 360 AIO and £100 for the hub.

I thought Lian Li had a good idea, but this one looks fantastic.

Yeah it looks quite snazzy, But knowing Corsair the price will be way over what it should be.

This is why Corsair opted to use multiple 8 pins on the PSU side on their newer ATX 3.0 PSU's that then leads to a 12VHPWR cable for the GPU, Much safer.

Yup, even PSlate Customs does this due to adding the extra 8 pin plug helps with heat distribution.

Raptorlake Refresh which is now 14th gen and from all current info with vendors releasing updated bios' for "Next Gen CPU's" for their Z690/Z790 boards will be a drop in part coming out around October with Meteorlake only being for laptops and Arrowlake on desktop not showing up until late 2024.

Aside from the highly likely increased clocks and hopefully DLVR (Digital Linear Voltage Regulator) not much else is known about the refresh.

Both games look good and I remember Massive saying on one of the "State Of The Game" streams for the The Division that they were, making an Avatar game.

I have been waiting to see what they were doing with it and it does look really good, however this is Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft so frankly for me, it will be a skip and see how it performs first.
