Quick News

The consoles especially the Xbox Series X are looking good, now I just want them to say that all games will support keyboard and mouse, and for Frontier to be told to enable 3rd party hotas support, not just the thrustmaster ones.

Elite Dangerous Fleet Carriers announcement
https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/fleet-carriers-content-reveal-announcement.539505/

These things are going to be huge:
One of your most frequent questions about Fleet Carriers was: How much do they cost? Fleet Carriers will be a lucrative investment, costing 5,000,000,000cr at launch.

Fleet Carriers are individually owned and feature 16 landing pads (of varying sizes) for other players to dock at.
Fleet Carriers use a new fuel, Tritium, to jump from system to system.
Fleet Carriers have a max jump range of 500LY at one time, with the ability to jump whenever the owner wants, however, they will have a build up and cool down period between jumps.
You can manage your carrier's finances by setting tariffs and adjusting the buying and selling prices for commodities traded in it's market.

I cannot be bothered to grind out 5 billion and then the billions more needed to upgrade it, I've already gotten Admiral with the feds, King with the imps, Gotten Elite in trading, Combat and exploration, Outfitted my Cutter, Corvette and Conda with the best stuff, The game has just felt like such a massive grind from the get go with not much pay off, If it had proper social options, Ability to walk around our maHOOsive ships, Have actual 3rd person avatars etc... then it would give the game a whole new feel.

I'm pretty sure if I understand correctly they will have pre-defined loadouts and you can select what type you would like.

Also since it has it's own economy it'll be earning you money. Less grinding

A quarter of the current F1 drivers will be in this weekends replacement Virtual GP, Charles Leclerc, Alex Albon, George Russell, Lando Norris and Nicholas Latifi, and a few past drivers such as Davidson and Herbert. Race will be Melbourne as the Vietnamese race we should be having is new this year.

F1 2020 game release with the new Vietnamese and Dutch tracks to be brought forward.
At this rate F1 is going to get replaced by its own videogame.

Its funny how the drivers have admitted that they feel more nervous and afraid in the esport races than they do on the actual track hehe.

Same, but I reckon it's because they're missing so much stuff they'd experience on track that they don't at home which will affect their performance, that and since they're F1 drivers, some would expect them to do brilliant.
I've done plenty of flying in simulators and in real aircraft, and I can say it absolutely feels different

Just came across this. Android phones will soon be getting GPU driver updates just like a PC. Will be pretty cool!

In addition.. Samsung are abandoning their own exynos chipset in favour of Qualcomm so expect to see good things in Europe. Maybe Samsung will get back to the top of the list.

I'm testing the Oneplus8 pro at the moment with Qualcomms unreleased drivers in games. And holy moly it is REALLY good.

Exynos just wasn't good. Never should have stuck with it.

The article doesn't mention Oneplus getting any treatment yet, so I assume it's because you work in the industry. Basically any device using Snapdragon 865/765 will be the first ones to get it.
