question on referbed ssd

Ok my local microcenter has a few referbed corsair force gt 240gb ssd's. They normally go for around 240 dollars. But they have the referbed drive for 170. Would j be safe buying a referbed ssd. I am having to head there anyway to get a fan controller anyway. Was jyst making sure that would ve a good buy for me.

How much warranty does it have? I would personally save up for a new one but if there is a decent warranty then you should be ok

Corsair do a lifetime warranty on their RAM, do they do the same with SSD's?

I doubt it would be the same as a new one because its a refurb. it's normally a warranty with the retailer

The refurbs aria had only came with a 30 day warranty, so be careful

yea i have decided to just wait and buy a new one. to have the full warranty.

warranties are virtually never transferable so yea it would be down to the refurb retailer
