I currently have a pair of gts 450's in sli i was wondering what single card could i get that would equal there performance thanks

I think SLI 450s is around a GTX 460 or AMD 6850 performance, how much do you have to spend on a new GPU?

I don't know the prices of cards in $ but if it's £ I would save another £50 you can get a 7950 for £350 .

If you want to keep between 200-300 though it might be worth waiting a couple of weeks because the 7850, 7870 and the 7970 that are being released. If you don't want to wait though i'd go for a 570 for around £250.

If all you're playing is those games then a 560Ti - 570/ 6950/ 7870 should be overkill for you

In which case SLI 570s/ 560Ti 448c/ 6950 CF or single card 580 or 7970 would be a good choice.

He said he had 200 - 300 dude, all those dual options are more than that. Also, the 7950 is the same price as the 580 and better than it and the 7970 is £450 not 200 - 300.

The 570 is the best single card to go for, either that or save an extra £50 for a 7950 or wait for the 78xx cards.

I don't think a solution exists that will run BF3 maxed @1080p, 50-60fps much below £300.

570 is minimum IMO

A 570 with an aftermarket PCB and oc it like you mean it, then it will run BF3 at 60fps+, mine did!
