Question about this EVGA warranty sticker (gonna be a short thread)

Ok I have bought an EVGA GTX 780(reference) and has just arrived. Opened it, and found that it has a warranty sticker right on the back. I bought the reference design one due to the fact that im going to be watercooling it and EVGA because as many or most of you already know that their warranty covers the removal of the heatsink.

Anyway here are some pics:

Just blanked out all of the numbers just incase its important and just for the buyer's use :P

Im going to be watercooling as I stated above and I will be installing a XSPC Razor Titan block and its constituent back plate.

The question:
1. For me to remove the reference/blower heatsink will I need to touch/remove that sticker to undo a screw?
2. To install the Razor Titan backplate, will I need to touch/remove/damage the sticker?

Thanks in advance.

I would say probably, yes.

Get in touch with their Twitter guy, err Jacob something *goes to fetch*...

That guy, send him a message or whatever, he's usually very helpful, if you're not sure, wait until you are.

That said, EVGA are usually pretty good about waterblocks etc :)

Unfortunately, I don't have twitter :/ But I could always make one and this would probably be a good reason to do so.
Thanks for your input.

Actually on a ref card there is no screw under that sticker.........
Thanks Tom for being able to reply to this post.
And oh great! But the sticker protrudes a bit as its going over some solder and I've no idea about the backplate until I get it but i can imagine that it hogs all of the solder like a memory foam and i fear that with the solders having small holes dedicated for it, that it'll tear the sticker.

But yeah, thanks for the input guys :)

EVGA have great customer support you should join their forum ive had loads of help from the people on there.

Had a problem a while back with one of my stickers on my 470 so I emailed EVGA EU support.

Hi i have a question i need to ask about my card`s if i need to rma them,i bought 2 EVGA 470 SC`s from a UK that did not come with the high flow bracket and backplate fitted so i ordered some from EVGA Europe so i fitted them with no problem and ran my pc for a while as im on air cooling the dust get`s bad quick so i took both card`s out to clean them and when i took both backplate`s off the foam pad on the backplate had marked the videocard serial number a little picture`s added.

His reply
Hi,

this will not void the warranty.

Please keep also the second sticker from the box good in case the other one is not readable in the future.

Regards,

I can also confirm that there should'nt be any problem at all as long as you KEEP the sticker: EVGA don't really care if you remove it or place it somewhere else, as long as you still have the sticker if you need to RMA or something like that.
