question about CPU block

So today i was cleaning my WC loop, opened the CPU block and found this :

Any one has an idea what it might be? :S it didn't look like algae to me

i think that's what it is. i removed it with a small brush. do you think it will continue appearing? anyway to stop it?

I use Mayhems premixed XL fluid in my loop it already has anti corrosives and anti algae thing in it so best advice I can give you use a premixed fluid

If it is green, it should be algae
You could use some Algaecides (Mayhems) or silver coils to prevent this...

I would recommend just swapping the water and cleaning the system from time to time.
some say 6 months.... once a year should be fine.
