Pump Speeds?

this might sound a stupid & most retarded thing I have ever asked to date,
but will it extend the life of my swiftech pump if its running at its lowest setting possible? I have been monitoring the temps & have only gained 1-2c & it still never goes above 55c (gpu wise) 45c (cpu wise) when under full load. just wondering if I can squeeze some more life out of the pump?

Doubt you'll notice much difference really, they're built really well.

Along with what remmy said, is there a noticeable noise reduction? That would be the reason why I'd crank it down.
