Pump/Res Combo?

First water-cooled system, going all out and planning a dual-loop system.

I recently bought the EK multioption 250 advanced res.

Question can this RES be attached to a pump? I am trying to conserve tubing and have both Res and pump attached, similar to the EK-DDC X-RES 140 VERSION 2.

I dont think so, Perhaps better to return it and buy a proper res/pump?
