Pump mounted res compatability ?

Evening all, i'm starting to get next weeks shopping list put together, but have come stuck on one item. I like the idea of having a pump mounted res, so have picked the Laing D5 Single Edition Pump with Koolance Laing D5 Pump Top, but i'm unsure of the res. From reading the speks, it needs to be a 60mm koolance, but it states I need a v2. The only ones I can find are the byo, ones and there is no mention of what revision they are. Should I just asume as they are all Koolance they will fit ? Or am i missing something all together ?

Also I you no of any other good pump mounted res, top combos, that would be great. Cheers guys.

the V2 pump top is a revision from the older squared version. they have an adapter
to top to connect a tube res directly to the top.
the one in the pix is a 60mm (diameter) x 80mm (tall). they also offer a 80mm (diameter)
tube adapter and res bodies (the 2x 80mm x 200mm im going to use)

only if the pump top has the mount adapter with it. some retailers may have that
as an option.
but straight from koolance, it is included. so you need a body (200mm) and a res
top (COV-TKTOP)

the 1 it links to says

mounting bracket, coupler for 60mm OD reservoirs, socket plug, and mounting hardware is included

So I assume it would

nope, bitspower, ek, phoyba, or alphacool tubes have different threads. I've got
a since selection of bodies that don't fit anything but their namesake parts..

Ah right. I only ask the water cooled Bitfenix Raider build over on the rig gallery, the guy has a Koolance COV-RP450, hooked up to a Bitspower multi res . Is there some adapter, to make them compatible ?

I fell into that along time ago on my build. because koolance only offers 120/200mm
tubes and one was too short and the other too long. the 150 was justtt right. but
wouldn't connect.

I would assume you could use something like this to connect them
1/4" Thread 5mm Male to Male Fitting
or just ask on that thread what they used
