PS4 Announced, what games are you most excited for?

EDIT: The only reason i get beat when i use a controller to play FPS is because it doesn't work like on a console. If it did i'd be fine.

you keep telling yourself that LMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!

thumb left aim left etc how can it possibly be different, i have a xbox controller for my rig but i only ever use it on driving games... i wouldnt dream of using it on a fps i wouldnt be able to kill anyone

edit: o wait ive just realized whats different about the pc fps... no auto aim... this is why console players are no0bs just like the aim bot hackers on pc fps are no0bs aswell

i doubt a 7850 only gets 1.8 TFLOPS. my 7950 gets 3 tflops and my old 6870 gets 2tflops. a 7850 should be somewhere in between.

*inserts facepalm meme*

read you tool

I'm working off details that are currently floating around, the ps4 is going to be released around the same time of the refresh of the 7k series so it could be based off of that generation? around 2000 GFLOPS is nothing to be laughed at in the console market.

I take any improvement in the console market as a massive positive as it means i will be getting my hands on better looking games.

with the nextbox and ps4 both moving to pc architecture pc games will get even more godly and mostly wont feel like dumbed down console ports thats what im looking forward too the most!

on topic only 1 game im looking forward too and i will get the pc version anyway and thats only because it will be miles better and thats watch dogs... i do like the look of destiny too but waiting on the nextbox announcements 1st...

Hello. Does it work like a console though? I've used controllers before on PC games and it doesn't feel the same.

I have no idea as I never use one, all I know is they work on pc.

I find it really hard to move around with the keyboard when you also have to use it to reload, crouch, jump and all of that other stuff. I cant move anywhere near as fluidly as i can with a controller.

Seriously i think the mouse part is fine, doesn't bother me at all.

I used to be the same but you will get used to it quickly. It is more the fact your muscle memory for your hands are basically used to a grasped position and not in a kinda spider finger position if you get me.

A mouse is far more accurate than any pad and even games that support mouse and pads are nearly always played with a mouse. The new counter strike supports both but all the competitive players use a mouse. The difference between something like cs and bf3 is in bf3 you can spray a lot more and shoot more in the general direction. In cs you really have to be on target as when playing competitively your more than likely going to die in one shot to the head so if you miss your more than likely dead.

Consoles developed aim assist to help with the pad and even games where you can turn it off still have it on the console.

I saw that earlier I just didn't have time to post it. Thought it was very good.

pc games aren't pc games anymore. we lost all customization and everything that made pc gaming special when consoles took over the trend setting part of the industry. the last thing we have are graphics, but what are graphics worth with bad gameplay.

The physics are like completely different too using a controller on a console compared to a PC. With a pc it's like on or off and no in-between, i think it's more than just aim assist.

I guess i should just try and get on with it then. The real problem i have with the keyboard is hitting the right key! lol I'll be in a game trying to do something but i can't find the key, then i get rinsed.

Its rumored to have 18 GCN units with each containing 64 cores( not sure if true i only glanced) and i am pretty sure thats just the dedicated gpu, 18x64= 1152 cores... which is between a 7850 and 7870 core wise.. Not sure if it can be directly compared, we still don't know any other details. But i think they are using customized off the shelf parts so it should resemble something close.

The UIs will still be terrible though... :/

I'll be getting one for me and the family to play on. I wonder if folding support will be added

They removed it from the ps3 during an update.
Maybe they might add back again if they do another joint venture with stanford uni
