Project: White Destroyer

Hi,

After a couple of months painting and modding (I'm not going to post the full log here, but if you want to see the log you can see [removed], my 800D is almost finished to get stuffed up with the best of the best (I think, it's pretty good stuff). So that's what I'm going to post here and of course the finishing touches on the 800D.
First a couple of pictures of the 800D.

Probably going to putt some leds behind the ROG logo (Yep, I'm a fanboy), this is going to be a selfmade door for the hotswap bays (I did remove them from the case so i can place the pump there)

I am going to putt in a watercooling set. Which contains a lot of XSPC products, the Raystorm cpublock, not yet sure about the rad, a 360 one, and of course res and other stuff, but not so sure about that either.
And these are the other components I'm going to putt in this system:
-Cpu: i7 2600K or 3770K
-Ram: Corsair Vengeance White 8Gb 1600Mhz
-SSD/HDD: Crucial M4 128Gb + WD Caviar Black 640Gb
-Graphics card: Asus GTX 670 DirectCu II Top
-Power supply: Corsair HX750
-Some bitfenix white and red exstension cables
-DVD reader/writer Unknown Brand
Al the fans I am using on this build are from Xigmatek, cause I think they have the best airflow and glow of al the fans and are still not that loud.

Ohh thanks, the only problem there is, is that the top was painted way earlier then the rest and has , i think one layer less of white then the rest so, in the end i'm going to repaint the top so it's unicoloured.

Good luck getting a block for the 670 The paintjob looks awesome, but the ROG logo has lots of rough edges IMHO.

Actually the 670 is not going to be watercooled that's why it is a DC2T, think that cooler is good enough. And indeed the ROG logo has some roughed edges, but a second door is in the make, maybe a third one too with an other logo.
We'll see.

also the dc2t looks awfull. i have a faulted 7950 dc2t. look at the dc2 7970 thats how they desing coolers. imo the 7950 and 670 look like they uave been recycled from last gen cards...

Update

Hi,

So here I have a small update.
First the name White Destroyer nothing to do with porn or race, just White for the overall colour and the Destroyer for the D from 800D.

I got a present from my dad, which I didn't expect and what I can pretty much use in my further "carreer" as modder.

But first some pictures of the frontpanel with my desk light behind.

I haven't yet improved it, didn't have the time.
What I did do, is putt some white sticker on the Crucial M4, just to see how it will look. Only on one side.

And now the present that I got from my father, thx dad!

Already did some engravings in a junkpiece of plexi, but I don't have pictures of that.

I also have made a sketch of an idea I had for a reservoir for the watercooling.
Don't know yet if I will make this or not.

That is it for today.
I have ordered the Maximus V Formula and a 3770K so now it's just waiting, waiting and waiting.....

No it's not yet released here in Europe, but there are several shops here in Belgium/Netherlands where you can order it.

It says "more than ten days" as the waiting time, I already spoke to the shopmanager and they didn't yet had an arrival date, but thought why not order it now, you never now how quick it might go.
