im already halfway through this build because i kept screwing up the photo upload...(i dont think forums like flikr???) anywho hear is what i have so far

sorry i didnt snap any shots of it in stock form... i started with a lian li 4b like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112316

but after sand,,,paint,,,and prime it looks more like....

41311098.jpg

truth be told i bought these fans just for the black and white scheme,,, but honestly i could not be any happier with the performance of these fans... zalman shark fin 120's suck a ton of air with great pressure(oddly tho they pull almost 30% more than they can push???) and are a bazillion %quieter than any fan ive previously owned!!!

41311099.jpg

next i added a lamtron touch fan control and an asus blu-ray(painted it chasis)

41311101.jpg

41311102.jpg

hmmmm......not sure how to explain my mobo choice......suppose i just wanted as much room to work with in a small ff case as possible so upon my reading of bittechs review of the asus m4a88t-i deluxe i picked one up... and they were 100% right with there assessment of it less than adequate cooling capabilities.... so hear is what i came up with to combat that....

41311111.jpg

add to that a modded out h70 (which ill be renaming the H72(more on that later tho))

41311116.jpg

41311131.jpg

"ooooh boy black and white real stark contrast" you say!!! ok ok hear is where the stark starts to come into play.... "and in this corner weighing in at over two lbs and standing at a staggering 35+ cm tall......the one the only asuuuuus raaaaadiooon 6970 dcii.....lllllllleeeeets geeeeeet reeeeeeeeaady too ruuuuuuuuuumbuuuuuuuuuuul..(trademarked bu bruce buffer(please dont sue me!!!))

41311129.jpg

so thats all i have for you for the moment...in my next post ill put up pics of the installation of all those goodies... plus the matching nzxt hale 850 psu and why i will be renaming the H70... please stay tuned

thanx

and that giant arse graphix card!!!!!!!!!!!!

41311145.jpg

i gotta tell ya... not impressed with the weight of that card..... i needed a lil piece of water tube to hold'er up

and if anyone was wondering the processor under that H72 is an amd 975 3.6Ghz
biggrin.gif

had a local sign shop whip this up for me.... id post a link for his shop but he was NOT impressed with how it came out... i say for starting out life as a 100x175 lo res img it came out real damn nice.....especially for 10 bucks!!!

41311148.jpg

just playin with the ssd placement???!?!?!?!?!

Looks too cramped. For $100 you could've picked up a better case IMHO but the craftsmanship and the work you've put into this is excellent.
cool.gif

whooda thunk a mini itx could be cramped in ANY case??? thanx for the kind words.... small case was one of design parameters i gave myself...i almost went with one of those silver stone fortress "stand up" style cases but i dont think i physically could have fit everything i wanted into it

neweggz psu calculator told me i needed 715 watts,,, i was gonna get the 750 but they were out when i bought it....at least ill be covered when i upgrade to a 6990!!!

so i did try to clean it up a bit by flipping the radiator over... i wont run into any issues running it with the barbs on top will i??? hopefully not cuz i like the results!!!

and i got a mushkin 120 gig sdd that is going to sit in that empty white spot below the resivoir

IMG_0762.jpg

i also finished up the dual 120 airflow mod for the H70 (now an H72)

Ouuuu... updates, and it's even nicer.

My eyes were darting around trying to figure out the loop, and then I realised you managed in cramp in a motherboard waterblock as well. Such a left field combination of parts.

Shame its such a small case (IMO) never the less looks great the white and black
cool.gif

i am going black yellow with a HAF922, modding it as i type
smile.gif

The white and black does look awesome and you don't see many people doing it. Shame there is no room to mount the rad internally, Still looks good though
