Project SL Benfica

Going to be starting my own project in a few weeks Project Benfica

Just a pic of club logo and kits for an idea of what I am going for.

Step 1. Case

I am going with the NZXT Switch 810 in white..
What I am planning on doing is painting it Red with White trim.
If anyone knows of a similar looking case that just so happens to be Red let me know then I wont have to paint so much:lol: Yeah I know the Phantom comes in red but I hate the side panel I just want one big arse window.

Also any recommendations on what kind of paint I should use? Obviously I need allot of red and white, I'm looking for a nice shine like a Piano finish. I was thinking I may just paint the outside red and leave the inside white and have some RED leds in there.

Step 2. Motherboard

Obvious choice would be the ASUS Maximus series.. Don't know of any other reputable brands that have red or white motherboards? Any suggestions would be appreciated saving a buck is always nice :lol: Maybe I will even consider a all black motherboard? MSI Mpower perhaps?

Step 3. Power supply

Corsair GS700 ver2
Customizable LED with the choice of red / white also some rings that come along perfect.. Only thing that bugs me about it is the damn blue logo :mellow: Is it just a sticker I can easily peel off?

Any feedback would be appreciated

If you don't like the Side panel in the phantom - why not mod it and Make it how you would like it?

I would still have to paint the black trim on the phantom so it's just giving me more work and I prefer these standard square shaped cases over round ones.

I think the shiny red finish will look good if you get it right

The inside will look better black imo and it would match the black and red Benfica shirt.

Good idea home kit outside away kit inside why didn't I think of that :lol:

also PSU is black videocard black etc etc saves allot of time. So should I get the black switch 810 or white? The red would probably look allot nicer on a black primer on a white primer it would probably come out to bright and just end up looking cheap.

This is exactly the kind of red I'm looking for.

Installed my new mobo was literally plug and play only problem I had was that retarded Bluetooth module gave me some epic rageeee.. Just gave up on it and using my USB bluetooth dongle instead.

Ughhh so annoying We'll I got the case PSU and mobo a few weeks ago BUT..

Graphics card burned out on me some how Just got a replacement card and waiting for the ok from Sapphire for RMA. Then the very next week.. Dropped my cellphone at the subway station so thats the Priority atm.. Now on boxing day I'm going to pick up like 6-8 AF140's and a couple of SP120's for my new h100i still unsure if I should grab 2 or 4 :huh: Gonna have to look at it when I see it up close..

But yeah since all this crap just happened to take place at once I probably won't get to painting until January - February
