i thought it had a webui that allows easy management from XP/Vista clients. Oh it installs an activeX thingie as well.

that was virtual server. not the new hyper-v. i hated virtual server! evil thing

Sounds like a beast! Surprised your not putting some crazy gfx card in it just or the hell of it!

Just imagining this rig in a line of racks of bog standard looking boxes and then theres the OC3D one - powdercoated, with pulsating lights, may as well have some music coming out of it! Would turn the server room into a nightclub :rollingla

Pics to come soon. Just finished building her and maaaan is she a monster :p

Just in time too, our other server seems to be jealous and is throwing hissy fits all over the place.

OC3D badge in effect :p

3TB worth of disks in removable caddy's

PCP&C 860w. One of very few PSU's I'd trust in a server environment

Cable tidying about 70% done :)

RAID Card (with added fan), Dual Port HP Server NIC, Crappy PCi-E GPU

12GB 1333Mhz DDR3 for this virtualisation beast

Nexus clearly didnt bank on their cooler being used by OC3D! Bye bye stock fan, HELLO 200CFM Delta.

At the moment she's running at 4GHZ. Gotta get it stressed tested, but I've had 3x OS's installing at once and all seems good so far :)

Hmmm 12GB ddr3 :yumyum: No powdercoats though? :p

Why the fan on that raid card though? O.o It looks quite ... strange :p

RAID card idles at 70c...didnt wanna take the chance tbh.

70*C :o That's one hot headed card. Do you pay a fixed fee or does that depend on power consumption? Would be ace to replace that crappy gpu with an 8800gt and get it folding.

EDIT: and oh, where are the other 2 delta's you talked about? :p
