Ok this is a little project to for my missus shes been wanting a computer for a little while so she can do her vet studies on it but also play some games, i was going to donate her my AsRock board and 2500k but seeing as i won a Scan 3XS bundle i thought id use that and house it in an NZXT Phantom 410 with a few basic mods and some watercooling.

so the specs are as below.
AMD FX 8350 Black Edition 8 Core Processor @ 4.6ghz
Asus Crosshair V Formula AMD 990FX

EVGA 2GB GeForce GTX 670
OCZ Technology 60GB Vertex 3 SSD

Corsair Professional Series Gold AX 850W
Corsair Vengeance Jet Black LP 8GB

Looking at Selling the AX850 as its far too big for this build, however, i have the red cables for it so goes quite nicely and cant seem to find an AX650 anywhere.

So anyway came home from work this morning to this mahoosive box from Scan

And this is the goodies contained inside. Taken the 7970 for Project: Coolsair for the extra horsepower on 3 screens, so shes getting my EVGA 670 SC, should be plenty for what she needs.

Getting the OS installed and giving it a quick test before the Phantom arrives on thursday and gets some weightloss surgery, the plan is to have a 240 rad in the roof and the front and then watercool the lot, also maybe give it a proper window, but we'll see, need to try and get this finished quickly so i can get on with coolsair.

Ok guys, just a quick update as im so busy with work till mid january cant get any proper modding or watercooling done! So yesterday this wonderful case arrived!

just some quick pics of the case and the system in there!

The plan in the next week or so is to drill out the rivets on the drive bays, cut a section on the base out and then re-rivet it back in to allow for a 240 rad in the front, at this time will probably be a Alphacool ut45. just waiting on the delivery of the watercooling gear for both this and Coolsair then i can really get motoring!

Yeah man fook internal drives!
ordered all the watercooling for both builds so hopefully if i dont keep getting rest days cancelled ill be able to get a lot of updates in

Look at that case shining... that's a thing of beauty. I like the inside except the red indvidually sleeved cables ( think it'd look better with white ones ) but that's just me.
BTW what cooler is that? Is the writing on it says "Be Quiet", right?

yeah its a BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro, gunna get rid of it when the watercooling comes!
Its an RoG board mate so obvs red and black theme build, it will look much better when the WC is in

Ahh, this is the motherboard from the previous pics. It just doesn't look alright with that white exhaust fan but if you plan on watercooling it ( i know what color the liquid will be ) the cables are fine.

Yeah, i know. Thanks. I'm using a HP Mini 210 and the screen is tiny and it's slow and it makes scrolling when pics are posted, almost impossible. It's pretty confusing. Sorry.

White fan is stock for the case, theyre all being replace with black and red phobya nano g-silents

These would be perfect for the red theme.
I heard that they work underwater as well, not that you're gonna need them to.

yup those ones, have some all black ones comming for coolsair which are going to have the fans blades sprayed copper with black frames
