The General Li is a tribute to the Dodge Charger used in "The Dukes of Hazzard" (named: General Lee). For this project I will be using some sweet orange paintwork on a Lian Li case along with airbrushed graphics. Other features are "hush-hush" at the moment, but as the worklog progresses you'll see some of them come out into the open

Ok, not much happening today, but I've ordered a couple of parts:
- Lian Li PC-G70 Case
- 2x Hitachi 320gb SATAII 7200rpm 16mb Disks
- Asus Blitz Extreme
- Mosfet Coolers
- Swiftech Copper NB Cooler
Once payment for Project F40 clears on Saturday, this is what will be arriving:
- Lian-li Drive Bezel
- Akasa Fan controller
- Intel E6850 Chip
- BFG 8800GTS OC2
- Samsung 20x20 DVD-RW SATA
- 3x Orange SATA cables
- Creative X-FI Sound Card
- 2x Delta high-speed fans (190cfm)
[29/08/07]
In preparation for having the case powder coated (orange external / black internal), I have dug a few extra components out of my wardrobe that I want powder coating.
- Removed all internals components from PSU and cleaned of all labels ready for powder coating orange. (pics to come)
- Cleaned up OCZ Memory Cooler ready to be made orange
- Found spare Akasa fan controller bezel - to be made orange.
I'm still on the hunt for an orange sleeving kit and some low profile passive coolers for the Blitz southbridge and crosslinx chips. If anyone has any ideas, let me know
[31/08/07]
OK today the case arrived. After being a little disappointed with it's quality I put that aside and got to work. Here's what was done:
- Drive cage and riveted bracket removed.
- PSU cage removed
- All fans, plastic parts, labels and stickers removed (ready for spraying).
- All rivets drilled out and replaced with screws.
In addition to this I also knocked up some plans to take to the laser cutters:

Ok not much interesting report apart from the arrival of a load of components
