INSPIRATION

I think i can make an illuminated angled mount so it stil fits cos its long as heck and still let gravity get its freak on. The only thing im now worried about i the colour trying to stop my 9 month old nephew from killing himself so ill prob post into this thread again later when hes not going pull my 46 inch telly on his head while he eats a pda
 
My korean made motherboard tray has arrived. Unfortunately in standard trim the backplate is too tall with the cutout for a fan. So i am going to have to dremel it into a more manageable size. Its a bit annoying but ill get over it. I guess the more modification/custom crafting will make it all the more impressive. Didnt realise how little i had in my account after my mortgage came out and the renter paid later plus wages and bonus cheque taken a week to clear when i ordered my uber monitor. So im gonna let my funds generate for a few weeks before i get the next batch of parts so i can start cutting
 
quick update

white, orange and blue paracord lengths are ordered. about 200 feet in total. i hope its enough. will be ordering the remainder of fans and cables this weekend for some hardcore parasleeving action.

in 4 hours with a dremel

who new aluminium could cut flesh so easily. thought someone had attacked me with a masamune blade. so smooth i didnt feel it

then after about half an hour i wondered why the tip of my finger was on fire.
 
it took soooooo long to do. most of the time was spent changing cut off wheels. i just burnt through them like crazy. and the sanding wheels worked way way better than the grinding wheels and diamond bit i used. i used the sanding discs at the end to take off the rough edges and make it touchable. not perfectly straight but im happy. a dremels hardly a precision tool
 
I thought i was skint for a few months and im never in town to go to the bank to check my balance so i had been living like a pauper for that time then last week i got the time to go into town and found out i was loaded thats before my wages that week were in and before my christmas bonus so i went out and bought all around me lol so things are now kicking into gear i part assembled my case today so that it didnt warp the douche that cut the wood got most of the cuts wrong so im gonna have to do a little trimming
 
Got about 5 m of this stuff in the post today. Still suffering with the gastric flu so i wont be using it for a while. Contemplating wheter to buy the router attachment for the dremel or to rent a router

Its pretty nice stuff. I wouldnt wrap a car with it but id sure use it for computer builds. Maybe once i get my own rig done somepeople i know will ask me to do one for them
 
40 bricks inc delivery. There is loads of it the small amount of acrylic on the other hand is gonna cost about 60 1/3 of that is delivery cant find anywhere local that sells acrylic sheet so i have to get it shipped from england. Rage face.
 
azurite updates pretty regular although mine and his designs vary significantly. his build seemingly has the hardware in a cabinet where as mine is going to be in along the lines of the lep desk. no where near as mind blowing. i have spent well over 2k already in, flip its probably approacing 3 already and i still have the 2 keplers to get and 32gb of dominator gt. so i do hope its as impressive as i is in my mind. im currently waiting on a route and some other materials coming so while i am machining the wood i can wait for some other things to appear. i hope to have phase one of the build complete by this time next month. phase one being the thing functions and has atleast 16gb of wc'd dominator. phase two being 32gb total wc'd dominator gt plus sli gtx 6/780 with waterblocks in a separate loop. but i will obv have to wait a while for the flagship keplers to appear.. im still trying to decide what peripherals i want to use. i want a mamba without a doubt. i also want a wireless keyboard with backlit keys so that pretty much leaves me the logitech k800. for the headset. i was thinking razer chimaera 5.1 cos its wireless but its 180 quid. so yea its gonna be expensive but at the same time it will be awesome. ill se if i can make a rendering over the next few days to give you guys an idea of how my mind has changed
 
Waiting on a refund for the error specialtech made that will take a few days. Ek direct are sending me 2 of x4 en nickel plexi dominator blocks and a en nickel plexi rampage 4 extreme waterblock. Now i just need ram a graphics card and to get my finger out and start chopping wood

well, choosing ram is gonna be quite easy considering the waterblocks XD
 
i had been in contact with ek trying to order the ram blocks. they had none in stock but Igor told me that he would sort me out. i paid last night for the items and then this morning i get a email saying that the items will not be available until the 6th of feb at the very earliest. so i sent Igor a email asking what is happening with my items. he said do not worry about your order we will make some for you, a promise is a promise. so even though i am not beings sponsored by ek. i bought all the items myself. apart from the xspc raystorm i already have the only other brand of watercooling blocks and fittings i will ever use will be EK simply because Igor went above and beyond the call of duty as i have heard people say about people doing extraordinary things, that may be a ron burgundy when in rome moment but what ever
