Project: Flame Orange

Yes, the orange is awesome. Once the black side panel is back on the case I think it will not be as "in your face". The rubber grommets, I didnt know what do with them, cos if I painted them they could crack as rubber expands and contracts loads with heat and movement.

i'd say it expands/contracts more with movement.. you could dye them? permanent marker would do it as well? although that would have a sheen that would be undesireable...

Dye em :P

Got any links to the dye I would need? I know the rubber does just pop out completely, so easy to do, I just didnt know what to use to change the colour

hahahaa you have to think about fillports before you mount anything and stuff xD but tbh. Its going pretty nice, its cool to see orange as the base color here. Lookin forward to see the final pics of it :)

I'm hoping I can unscrew the res and angle the top forwards to get it filled and then push it back and re-screw it onto the mobo tray/

Please dont put that hose from the pump up to the CPU block back dude it looked terribad. You want to use as little hose as possible fella and do everything you can to hise it and make it look tidy.

Grab some 90 & 45 degree fittings too if it will help the loops and bends cleaner.

hmmm, also no idea how I'm going to fill it with fluid now, I cannot get access to the fill port in the top of the res.

If the fillport is G 1/4 you might be able to screw a 90° fitting on it ?

Then connect a piece of tubing to it and fill with a seringe or a thunnel.

I feel like had the fans been black then the overwhelming colour would have balanced out. Lets hope with case closed up its less bright. Fantastic commitment to the build though, just a little too much orange for me.

Those cases cost a fortune here in Norway.

I just unscrewed the res from the plate and tilted it forwards... easy peasy tbh.

Many improvements make to the tube layout :) Which involved 2 seperate trips to OcUK for more fittings :D

All being leak tested now :)

I really like what you did with the tubing on the cpu block, it would be amazing if you had managed to get them perfectly aligned. I'm no wc expert but looks pretty frickin tidy to me :)

The fittings ont eh CUP block are rotarty, so they move easily. They res not being screwed to the mobo plate is pulling it down, but once mounted back on the mobo plate they will be 100% alligned. Like in the pic before the fluid was put in.

ah I see, my bad haha, good job then :) 10/10

yes idd there is a lot of orange, but i dont mind really mind it.First of all,it all matches eachother which is pretty nice and well, its something else than always seeing black interior ^^ its something special and pretty nice. If that coolant would've been a lit lighter,it would've looked like orange juice xp

looking good mate
have you left enough room to get the ram in there?
