Hi mates,

Start build my new pc with spec:

Case: Lian Li PC-A71

PSU: Galaxy 850W

Board: Asus Maximus Formula

CPU: Q9450

Ram: Corsair TwinX PC-8500

GFX: Geforce GTX 280

HDD: 2 x 500Gb Samsung F1 in RAID 0 (have no idea how to set it up )

Water cool CPU, GFX, NB, MOSFET. I like to set up in 3 loops.

But today I was receive this:

Got an idea, anyone got a OC3D logo, quite a big one so I can stick wit mu nymber and run around the track...should be cool

Build looking good so far. Raid 0 isnt too hard to work out these days. Mostly documented either on the net or check your bios for option to run auto configs etc etc.

OC3D logo would be awesome with the numbers on it. Maybe try to print of a large version and get it laminated or something.

Hope I can set up right, and hi mate ex Chertsey boy . I like to pain in side thwe case with white but my last pc not last it was very easy to scratch and peel. Many thanks for your help. And where I can find the OC3D logo then?

And I tried to looking for the mod DDC pump to a pro or something like that, it is turn the pump run much quicker than original. Many thanks :worship:

thanks for that, I hope I can finsh the track below 2:00h, another noob question is, what is best for mounting the PSU, I intend to mount it on top, the 3x120 rad @ bottom, 2x120 infront and 1x120 @ back. But thinking about air intake I got none, so can I make 2 blow hole on top for air intake because all the fan on the rad will blow out. Help me please which any good idea, many thanks.:worship:

I guess I'm biased but I believe PC Fomat did a pretty in depth review in their Mag, seems as though for some AAx8 settings the GTX 280 does kick arse, ofc its more expensive and 2x 4870s may be the better value for money with very little to show for it... ofc if u want to go ott putting 2x gtx280's together is fairly insane..

X2 annihilates the 280 in all but a very very small number of benchmarks and the X2 actually excels when the AA is turned up. Read around 10 - 15 reviews showing this.

Also the X2 costs more than the 280 at the moment.

well at any case X2 GTX 280s beat everything right?
