you virtually can now with project cars lol.
minus the single player part which Pcars does not do any where near as well as forza, but the multiplayer part is pretty much the same minus your modified cars.

I have to say, at the moment pCars is a solid racing game. I'm enjoying it, but feel like the content is slightly lacking, and also I seem to be getting occasional glitches, such as the steering locking in one direction. From what I've experienced, I actually prefer it to Forza 5, but I'm looking forward to compare it to Forza 6 later in the year.
Forgot to say - I'm playing on an Xbox One as my current PC can't handle it.

I prefer the single player part compared to the multiplayer, I like the collecting cars, grinding money and doing silly upgrades in Forza 
but that being said its nice to play Project cars on my PC will have to look at getting a wheel soon

I've played Forza.. honestly it's not that great. Pretty boring if you ask me and way to hard to turn the damn cars even at extreme low speeds. Nothing seems like it works to me, seems unpredictable. AC is much more fun. I don't use a wheel but it's still fine from time to time.
