Project Awesome

I managed to get some pictures today, this is how we sit at the moment

After looking at the case again I dunno if I could keep any of that hard drive cage with a rad in the floor as I may have to offset it to the right to have some cable room from the PSU.

If I don't end up placing the rad on the floor I will have to find a way to mount it at the front

awesome looking rig mate, job well done

one thing I'd like to see you do is tidy up some of the cabling. most of it is great, but there's a couple of weak spots.

the front I/O and usb cables should be pulled a bit tighter and given a uniform bend (this really is just me being pedantic :p )

you could greatly improve aesthetic by having a play with your pcie power cables to the GPU's, they seem to stand a bit too proud and stand out too much in my opinion.

not saying it doesnt already look great, but I personally just think that having put all the time and effort (and money) into a gorgeous build like this, you gotta be a bit anal, ya'know

Cheers bro, I'm not very good at the cable tidying side of things but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I'll end up re-doing it when I get my water loop in there anyway. The cables are pretty stiff to work with so the Pci-E cables are a bit of a pain to work with.

A Corsair H100i would finish it off in my opinion.

I've already got my heart set on a custom water loop but I don't think an H100i would look out of place at all.

i know what you mean, im using once of corsairs cable kits in my build, and though they are gosh damn sexy, they are stiff out of the box.

i found the key to a good result was taking off all unnecessary cable ties & trying to pull the cables down the side/edge of the gpus pcb. then pulling them tight from behind the mb tray makes it look sharp

after a while the cables do become a bit easier to use (they get softer) aswell, which helps
