Hi

But i have some problems now.

I use the gpu tracker v2 software and been using my 2600K and a HD4870 so fare for folding. Added a old 8800GTS 320 MB gfx to the system here this morning but it is not working.

Gpu tracker just gives a error then i start the gpu client on the 8800GTS.

Driver is up to date and i know that the card is working.

The hd4870 is crap for folding and mixed with a nvidia card on same mobo is dodgy at best.I would run the gts8800,and there is an option in the setup where you chose how manny cores to run the smp.I always use 7 cores on smp-folding and 1 for running gpu(s).

And welcome to the folding team

I get a unstable hardward error every time i start the gpu client.

When folding doesn't want to work it can be an awkward beast to fix.

If you can try to confirm which card it is trying to fold on and what unit it is trying to fold that will be a good place to start.

With any luck before the client reports the unstable hardward error it will use a bit of the GPU which you can check via GPU-Z and the load % reading.
