Problem with my Razer Deathadder

I don't know if this is the right forum section for it as I'm pretty new here but I'll ask anyway.
I bought this mouse not long ago and the problem being with the scroll, not sure if it's a common problem or not.
As soon as I'm in any browser, and I want to scroll up per 1 "tick" I do of scrolling upwards it sometimes (quite often) goes back down 1 tick and when I do multiple "ticks" upward its like having a seizure on the screen but does go up a bit. I find this extremely annoying when browsing on the web is there any way to solve this aside from throwing this mouse away?

Some says its a driver issue with W7, and that a previous version should work. However, many also reports its simply a common issue with the specific mouse, and should simply be replaced/returned.

If its new, return it and get a different brand. Razer is overpriced and isnt any better than other brands such as Logitech and Microsoft.

If you haven't done so already, try downloading the latest drivers from Razer, to see if that makes any difference.

If you registerd it, you have a 2 year warranty on it... (I convinced my boss to get us two cad guys a pair of them)
