Probably a new case: Obsidian 750D Airflow or regular?

The ones i had felt solid, nearly all of the Corsair products i have own have all felt solid apart from the 750D which is funny cause that is the case that the OP is looking that.

TBH i wasn't impress with the 750D to me it feels flimsy compare to the 650D

You're not really selling it to me mate lol

Anyway sorry for pushing the issue, but are the care fans LED or not?

To me the LED fans aren't as good as the original ones .

They're not, no. The LED fans are incredibly thin and cheaply made. "Back in the day" Corsair made very heavy solid fans (like the SP ones bundled with the H100 for example) but I had 14 LED fans and they were all equally bad.

F34R I suggest you replace all of the fans with something better. Hey, at least it gives you something to upgrade to.

That's what i'm trying to say dude there is nothing wrong with the original non LED SP & AF Fans that Corsair came out with but the LED ones are so bad i had 3 in my old system and they LED's weren't even that bright. LED fans are way over rated i have learnt my lesson i'm not buying anymore LED fans

OP just keep the what you have you can always put in a LED strip or that lighting kit thing that NZXT came out with.

Got it in today, nice looking case and less weight than my current one, which is fine by me.

Gave me a shocker though, that darn plastic made it static. Hope it didn't damage the case USB etc., I've become a little paranoid since my recent system issues.

Going to build it come weekend :) might replace the rear exhaust if the fan colour doesn't match anything.

Since you have the original Corsair AF fans with the rings you could always paint the ring to what ever colour you want.

It's more the grey fan blade colour I meant. Might replace it with another brand all black fan since Corsair doesn't do those. I only have 120 fans currently, and would like 140 ones.

I have found the Bequiet fans to be somewhat decent. Dont push the most air but the quality it decent.

Problem is that they cant be mounted onto radiaotors.

Yeah i know the stock ones are, What i'm saying is the ones that come with the White, Blue & Red rings paint one of the rings to black or what ever colour you want.

I know, it's the not the ring colour I'm worried about, that fits. The blade colour is the issue. Just want to go for a more stealthily build so all black 140 non LED fans. I'll take suggestions :)

You don't really HAVE to put the ring on!
Besides, I reckon they can look pretty sexy with a gloss black ring

But there's always the all-black Noctuas, Be-Quiet! Pure/ Silent Wings series, Bitfenix Spectre Pros, Fractal Venturi or the Phanteks PH-F120/140.

They would yeah! Without a ring they look silly imo. I quite the Fractal Venturi! Excellent recommendation, cheers! The shop sells two identical ones, it seems, at two different prices lol specs are the same.

Do you think that the static shocks could've wrecked the USB ports in the empty case? It was quite a spark :/

I was so looking forward to building it this weekend, but now the PC has to go to the shop :/

Edit: I've been reading conflicting stories about fitting the H105 in the 750D roof, screws being too short specifically. It seems no problem to me. Does anybody here have experience with it?

Corsair fans are overrated. The QE at 7v is louder than my GTs at 12v and push less air along with lower static pressure. Being all plastic doesn't help either

You know what dude, I can't tell the difference between these EK fans i have and the Corsair's. Maybe my hearing is stuffed or something.

Interestingly there are also some reports of 'vibrations' with this case and AIO coolers. No idea what imagine there, but I think choosing fans (speeds) has a lot to do with it.
