Price to performance build!! Advice

Well, since I didn't win the Corsair competition ;p nor any other price, I'll be building my PC hopefully in the near future (around 2-3months). I'm still doing my research to what parts I'll be buying. I already had some thoughts (like an i5 and a 7850) but since I need all the parts including keyboard and monitor, I needed to reduce the budget.
So I'm after parts that offer a good price to performance ratio.....

What I had in mind was this....

i3 (ivy) 3225
MSIZ77a-G45
Corsair Builder 600W
Bitfenix Shinobi (White/blue) no window
Wester Digital Blue 500GB
24x CD/DVD-Rom
2x4GB 1600Mhz (9-9-9-24) RAM

So this is the build. With the 3225 version of the Ivy I would be well to start without the graphics card at first and then add one later. I will probabbly choose a 7770 or 7850... Also MSI mobo is aslo future proof as it handles crossfire.. Also the Powersupply is also capable of crossfiring at least the 7770 (not sure of 7850 but I think it can as well)

So, anyone spots something which isn't right or maybe I missed something.
Help appreciated
Thanks.

For the GPU I would recommend a 7870 Tahiti LE

That is much more expensive. its like 100pounds more than the 7770 and around 75pounds more than 7850. Even the 7850 seems like a stretch for me ;p hahahha .. But if I had more money... that is where it seems like price to performance is at the moment that truly is a nice card

It might be worth going with integrated graphics then and saving for the Tahiti LE because it is definatly a nice card :)

ye it might also be a good idea. I have a question surely someone here will be able to answer it..... Will for example a 7770 with HD2000 from an i3 3220 perform better/worse/same than a 7770 with HD4000 from an i3 3225.

Im not 100% sure if they both work like a CFX/SLI setup but i have a HD6870M card with a HD 3000 integrated chip and its mostly a switchable chip for general browsing.

Deos your Mobo support Lucid MVP technology? ( thats what i think its called )

nope it does not

Im pretty sure the lucid MVP tech allows to switch between integrated graphics and the Discrete graphics card through the use of a hotkey
Disclaimer:
Do not take anything that i say as Concrete facts its 3:41 AM :)

but the HD 4000 smashes the 3000 and would smash the 2000 respectivly

Well budget is least as possible but I do want some features...:

I want to be able to SLI in the future..It would be A viable option especially if I go with the 7770... (BUT if I do not go Xfire)........I could buy a GAZ77-D3H.. and save up some more.... then I would be able to buy a better graphics card.

I built a £500 rig for my friend, and we we're able to fit in a Tahiti LE...
Can you stretch to £500, or is that way above budget..? :/

and wouldnt need to go xfire ;p

well depends..till now if i have gaz77-d3h and an i3 3225 and the above I'l be at 400 but the tahiti is 200pounds .. but im in no hurry I can always wait a month to buy the graphics card later. :)

What games do you play? The 7850 is an extremely capable card.

Basically latest games as high settings as possible. hhahaha

The Tahiti LE will be a pretty massive step up from the 7850, If you can stretch to it... If you need a rig now though, I would just stick with the 7850, you'll be happy either way :)

The 7850 can be overclocked really high, and will match the 7870 LE pretty easily, as long as you get a decent 7850.
